The Missing Sports Bra

My workout today was...interesting. I got to the gym and realized that I forgot a sports bra.  Awesome.  So I had two options. Turn around and go home, or run with my regular bra on.  Regular bra it is!

HOT.  I went with it and finished my five miles in 49.53.  My legs were really sore from my workout on Sunday and my run yesterday.

I ran outside yesterday after work and picked up the pace a bit.

Foodwise, I've been trying to get back on track and trying to eat less sweets. This will always be my weakness, always.  It doesn't help when your birthday is on Friday though.  My fam took me out for dinner last night and surprised me with these:
Yum how could I say no??

My dinner was a turkey burger with steamed veggies.
This burger was giant. I ate it without the top bun and finished about 3/4 of it. It was delicious. Birthdays are definitely for indulging, but today I got back on track.

I whipped up a yummy smoothie for breakfast.
1/2 cup plain nonfat chobani
1 frozen banana
1 scoop almond butter
1 tbsp PB2
lots of cinnamon
almond milk to fill it up!

I think Champ wants some too.

Lunch was a big salad with a veggie burger on top.

Throughout the day I snacked on lot of fruit and mixed nuts to keep me satisfied.  For dinner I whipped up some chicken fajitas (unpictured...sorry).  I sprad guacamole on mine and cooked peppers and onions to go along with it.

For my snack I had half of a Kashi Brownie with some peanut butter on top
If you haven't tried this I definitely recommend them.  They have very good nutrition stats and are made with sweet potatoes and beans! I also had about a tablespoon of dark chocolate chips.  I will never completely cut out sweets, I just need to learn to limit them a bit or else I start feeling off.  This was a good day of eats and hopefully I can keep on with this even though I have more birthday celebrating coming up!!
