Megan vs. Hills and WIAW

Happy hump day everyone! Time for WIAW.

1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup almond milk, craisins, spoonfull of peanut butter, apple on top

Morning Snack:
Veggies and my new obsession, spiced roasted chickpeas. They are soooo good!! I even got some people at work to try them.

Whole wheat deli flat with peanut butter and apple butter. 1/3 cup plain nonfat greek yogurt, 1/3 cup pumpkin with roasted chickpeas and mixed nuts on top.  Gearing up for my run after work.

Snack (sorry no pic):
Banana put in the micowave for 30 seconds mixed with crasins and a scoop of yogurt. Chocolate on the side of course!

Pretty right??....I didn't make it. oops.  I just was not in the mood to cook today and we had a coupon to Boston Market so I went for it.  1/4 white meat with mixed veggies and vegetable stuffing.

Between lunch and dinner I went for a run around Newark. I have been getting a little bored of my typical route so I decided to mix things up.  I mapped out a 4.25 mile route that included two BIG hills.  I thought I could handle it.  I pretty much died haha.  I made it through though without stopping and was proud of myself when I finished.
Large hill in the distance.  Hill #2 of my run.

looking a hot mess after my run. ready to pass out.

I finished 4.35 miles in 39 minutes.  I was happy with my pace considering all the hills and my legs being tired from my workout yesterday.  Tomorrow I have my second wedding dress fitting :) So excited! And then I'm off on Friday to prepare for Atlantic City!

  1. oooh, i never thought about putting a banana in the microwave! i eat them all the time and this sounds like a great way to change it up. happy wiaw!

    1. I saw it on another blog and decided to try it when I was freezing one day and now I'm hooked. It's really good when you mix a spoonfull of peanut butter in!
